Floating Hexy Box Kit in Florals

Use a clever machine sewing technique to attach small hexagons onto fabric to create this very useful box - perfect for loose threads and fabric scraps, makeup and toiletries or even little treats to have close at hand ;) This kit features fabrics from Robert Kaufman's At The Cottage collection backed onto a Coast Spectrum Solid fabric.

Skill level: Intermediate

Finished size: Approx 6" square by 5" high

This kit includes all the fabric, wadding, interfacing you need, plus a set of pre-cut paper hexagon templates and a 12-page full colour instruction booklet.

You will also need:
• A temporary fabric glue pen - such as Stix2
• Thread for piecing - I recommend a 50wt cotton thread such as Aurifil in a light grey
• Gentle fabric starch - such as Mary Ellen’s Best Press, which you can find here
