Flower Box Wall Hanging Kit

This beautiful project features an alternative foundation paper-piecing technique using freezer paper where you stitch along folded lines instead of through the papers, great for smaller blocks like these. This wall hanging is finished off with a knife-edging facing instead of binding.

Finished size: Approx. 24" square (61cm square)

Kit includes:

• Ten 10” squares from Makower's Flowerbox collection
• 90cm x WOF (width of fabric) of Linen Texture in Denim (B7), for sashing, borders and facing
• 50cm of Freezer paper
• One reel of Mettler cotton thread
• Anchor emboidery thread in white
• Easy-to-follow instruction booklet.

You will also need:

• A thin piece of card such as the flyer I have included in the kit or a postcard
• An Add a Quarter ruler is useful but you can also use a normal quilter’s ruler
• You may find a lightbox handy, but you should be able to see through the freezer paper for tracing without one
• Frixion pen or disappearing fabric marker
• 28” square of backing fabric and of wadding
• Binding clips
