Diamond Rings Table Runner Pattern (with option to add set of pre-cut papers)

Make this beautiful table runner to adorn your dining table - maybe in Christmas prints to add to your festive decor, or what about happy brights to cheer up your room?

This runner is made using the hand sewing technique of English paper-piecing and features Louisa's specially-designed shapes to make up these straiking star blocks. Diamonds and triangles in a solid fabric are then added around the outside before quilting, and finishing off with a neat faced edging.

These full colour easy-to-follow instructions will take you through every step, and includes a copy of the templates for you to trace and cut out yourself. However, if you would prefer a complete set of pre-cut papers (108pcs) to make life easier, you can add them above for an extra £14.00.

You will need;
• Depending on your choice of layout, you will need either five 6" x 22" strips in co-ordinating fabrics - if you are fussy-cutting you may need larger pieces depending on the design.
• Either one 6" x WOF (width of fabric) strip or if you wish to alternate as in my Christmas version, two 3" x WOF strips in accent prints or blenders for the Crescent shapes
• 90cm x WOF of background fabric
• Temporary fabric glue pen - which you can add above
• Thread for piecing - I recommend a 50wt cotton, which you can find here
• Gentle fabric starch - available here
• Thread for quilting - if machine quilting, I recommend at 50wt or 40wt cotton, if you are hand quilting, you could use a heavier 28wt or an embroidery thread
• 15" x 58" of wadding and backing fabric.
