Hexy Craft Wrap Pattern - Includes Pre-cut Hexy Papers

I made a craft wrap for myself years ago for keeping my EPP project in when we went on holiday, and it’s been used ever since. With a secure zip pocket to keep your scissors and papers, a place for a pencil and glue pen and large pockets for everything else, this pouch folds nice and flat to be tucked into the side of your bag.

This project features the hand sewing technique of English paper-piecing (EPP) using the ever-popular hexagon shape.

Finished size: Approx. 9" x 15"

Skill level: Skilled Beginner

You will need:

• Forty-two 5” charm squares in co-ordinating prints
• One fat eighth of background fabric - I have used cotton linen mix for a little extra strength
• One fat eighth of lining fabric
• One fat eighth of iron-on interfacing
• 70 pre-cut ¾” paper hexagons (included with this pattern)
• 60cm grosgrain ribbon
• 3” square of acrylic felt
• 7” zip
• Thread for piecing - I recommend a 50wt cotton thread
• Gentle fabric starch
