This fabulous cushion kit is for real lovers of hand sewing, or for those wanting to stretch their English paper-piecing skills to the next level!
Thanks to the wonderful method of glue-basting, I show you how you can now EPP curved edges to make this beautiful cushion featuring a rainbow of prints from Wilmington's blender collection, backed onto a square of Makower's Linen Texture in Steel. I then take you through the hand-quilting in 'big stitches', though you can of course do your own thing.
The kit includes all the fabric you need to complete the cushion front, plus an Anchor embroidery floss and pre-cut paper templates for the EPP. Plus there are full instructions and a template sheet for future projects.
You will also need a temporary fabric glue pen, and a 20" square of wadding and muslin, all of which can be added to this order, see above right. In addition, you will also need thread for piecing, 50cm of backing fabric and a 20" cushion pad.
Level: Experienced hand-piecer
Finished size: Approx 18.5"
