This beautiful table runner design is ideal for showing off larger prints you just don’t want to cut into, such as these glorious prints from Makower’s Heather & Sage collection. This pattern features a quick and simple foundation paper-piecing technique to make up half-square triangles, which are made up into blocks, and then sewn on-point with the framed feature prints.
Each kit includes all the fabric for the front, including binding, plus a full set of FPP templates and Louisa’s easy-to-follow instructions.

There are two choices of size, the short finishes at approx. 20" x 50" (50cm x 127cm) and has three feature blocks. The longer version finishes at approx. 20" x 77" (50cm x 195cm) and has five feature blocks. Please be sure to choose the size in the pull down menu above.
You will also need:
• Thread for piecing and for quilting
• for the short version - 22" x 54" backing and wadding - cut 75cm down the length and sew these two pieces together into one long length - you can add the backing fabric and wadding above;
• or for the long version - 22" x 80" backing and wadding - cut 1.2m into two 60cm x WOF (width of fabric) pieces, then join these into one long length - you can add the backing fabric and wadding above.
For backing fabrics see my Fabric Collection here, including the Linen Textures in Heather and Dove and Spectrum Solid Antique White used in the runner, and you can add the wadding above.
