This gorgeous cushion kit is made using curved English paper-piecing, a hand sewing technique using paper templates, glue-basting and a flat back stitch to sew the pieces together. This is a lovely mindful project for some quiet stitching and also the perfect portable project for taking to class or away on your hols.
This kit includes four fabrics from Makower's Amelia collection, plus a fat quarter of Texture Linen in Delft from Makower for the background and two binding strips in Linen Texture Watermelon, plus a set of pre-cut paper templates and full instructions.
You will also need;
• A temporary glue pen - see above on adding this to your order • Thread for piecing - I recommend a 50wt cotton • 20" square of wadding - see above for adding this to your order • 20" square of butter muslin, which you can add above • 50cm x 110cm for cushion back - I have used a Delft Linen Texture cotton which you can purchase here. • 20" cushion pad. • 20" zip
