Hope in the Stars Quilt Gallery

If you are looking for inspiration or encouragment to have a go at this fun hand sewing project, or maybe you just like admiring makers' beautiful finished quilts, below is a collection of wonderful finished Hope in the Stars quilts, made by some of my amazing subscribers who joined my Sewdown Lockdown quilt along in 2020-21 - Enjoy!

Helen named each block to mean something special to remind her of this time in history, such as 'Keyworkers' and 'Listen to the Birds'.

Samantha's quilt is a glorious celebration of Christmas, which I'm sure will be on show for many years to come.

Shirley went for the wall hanging layout to make this gorgeous summery quilt, hopefully this will be a happy reminder of how our quilting got us through this time.

Bev's choice of fabrics is so beautiful and striking, that brown sashing makes those pinks just sing!

Gracie went for some English paper-piecing and decreased the templates to make this amazing mini quilt finishing at just 14" square!

Maggie's On-Point quilt is so vibrant, that grey background is perfect for showing off these glorious rainbow fabrics.

Ven set her quilt into a longer layout which sits perfect on the back of her sofa, those rich colours and deep purple are just gorgeous!

Joanne also went for the bedrunner layout, and added that perfect pieced binding which brings everything together so nicely.

I love Laura's choice of colours, so different and yet they work so well.

My own finished quilt in a glorious rainbow against that lush dark grey.
