Pre-Cut Party - EPP Dresden Plate Cushion PDF Pattern
This gorgeous cushion pattern is based on the 2½" fabric strip, though you can also use fat quarters, charm squares or even scraps from your stash.
This is a hand-sewing project and uses English paper-piecing to make up these crescent wedges, first to make the centre Dresden Plate, and then the outer border. I love using curves in my EPP, and they're really so much easier than I ever imagined, so I thought I'd pass this joy onto you!
This pattern includes full instructions with colour photos showing you stage-by-stage details, plus a page of templates for you to cut out. Alternatively you can purchase a 100pc pack of die-cut paper templates here.
If you would like to make a larger project, maybe a table runner or full sized bed quilt, why not have a look through my fabric strip sets, including the one I used above featuring the Henna Garden collection from Michael Miller.
